How Retail with Purpose works.
From your application to your first invoice, here is what to expect at each step.
Joining
Steps 1 to 3Step 1: Tell us about your shop.
Apply online with a few details about your shop. It is free, and there are no dues.
Step 2: Our team reviews your application.
We will email to confirm we have your application, and again with next steps once we have reviewed it.

Step 3: Your vendor list and retailer number.
When your application is approved, we email you your vendor list and retailer number, and send your free Winter Market Planner 2027.
Ordering
Steps 4 to 6Step 4: Order the way you already do.
You order directly from participating vendor partners, through your rep, at market, or online with the vendor. Each time you place an order, share your retailer number so the 5% can be applied.
When an order acknowledgment comes back, check that your retailer number and your 5% are on it.
Step 5: See it right on your invoice.
Your 5% comes off the wholesale cost, right on the invoice, before freight and tax.
A few vendor partners exclude some items, such as sale or custom orders. Any exclusion is noted on that vendor’s listing.
If an invoice comes back without your 5%, simply follow up with the vendor partner. We are always happy to help at 407.268.4444.
Step 6: Net 30 with most vendor partners.
Many of our vendor partners offer Net 30 terms. In some cases a vendor partner may ask for a standard credit application first, or offer different terms.
Through the year
Steps 7 to 9Step 7: A quick check-in each quarter.
Four times a year, you fill in a short online form with the vendor partners you ordered from and your total for the quarter.
Each check-in covers one reporting period and is due the week after the period closes.
Your vendor partners report their side of the same quarter, and our team brings the two together. It is how we make sure your 5% is being applied correctly and keep your vendor relationships active.

An order dated July 31, October 31 or January 31 counts in the period that ends on the 30th just before it.
Step 8: A full year together.
We ask you to participate for a full year. Taking part means ordering with our vendor partners over time and completing the quarterly check-in. If something changes along the way, we are always open to a conversation.
At the end of your first year, we will connect with you to look back on your experience and talk through next steps together.
Step 9: Each vendor’s own minimums.
Each vendor partner keeps its usual opening and reorder minimums. Retail with Purpose itself has no required spend.

Does it cost anything?
Joining is free. There are no dues, fees, platform charges or required spend.
Does the 5% apply at market?
Yes. Your 5% applies with participating vendor partners at market just as it does the rest of the year.
How much time does it take?
It takes very little time. The only added step is the quarterly check-in, which takes a few minutes.
Which vendors are included?
A curated group of PPP vendor partners, with more joining over time. Browse the full list.
Does the 5% cover every location?
Each shop location joins on its own, and your 5% is tied to the ship-to address we have on file for that shop. If you have more than one location, simply apply for each one. If your address changes, let us know so your savings stay with your shop.
